This event is hosted in Trackmania and in the title(s) TrackMania United Forever. You can participate on your own and registration is not required.
The Airven 6 minutes Challenge is basically 7 maps played that are each 6 minutes. One on every environment (or every gameplays, some maps can be envimixed). It is a discovery event. Nobody knows the map (except those who built them), so this is the quick-learners favorite cup ! Why "Airven" ? Because it was at first an internal Airven cup (and some guests).
A6MC is played on every 1st Thursday of each Month at 21:00 CE(S)T. Everyone can participate, no registration needed, just join the server and play !
Building a 6 min long map takes time, that's why this cup needs a lot of community involvement, don't be afraid about building duo (or more) maps.
If you want to build a map, these are the only things you need to take care:
- Make sure the route is as clear as possible, no confusions while the discovery (you can use the Blue-Daytime TMX signs pack), or some Mediatracker things
- Around 6min Author Time (it can be 5 or 7min, but 6 is the best)
- All CheckPoints need to be respawnable ! If your CP need a specific place, but cant be respawnable, then build a safe/respawn way.
- A moderate difficulty is the best. We can tolerate trial/platform things, but make sure every players (and every devices) will complete the map.
Send your maps to jumperjack or Roa.
We are always in need of maps, so even if the whole month is already filled you can still build and your map will be used the following month etc..
